Standalone Printing Station

The latest series of zebra printers can have a USB host port on the front or back of the printer. You can use the port to plug in a USB Scanner or USB keyboard to enter variable data into label formats that are stored on the printer’s E: memory and contain variable data fields. This may eliminate the need for a Keyboard Display Unit such as the KDU Plus or ZKDU device. It is also a convenient way of using the printer standalone print when the majority barcode of label data is static and only a few fields change from print job to print job.
